NEAR Inscription is the first dedicated inscription protocol standard (NRC-20) engineered natively on NEAR Protocol. It allows users to write permanent, verifiable data and digital artifacts directly into NEAR transaction calldata without expensive smart contracts or network latency.
To qualify for the Whitelist snapshot:
1. Follow @NearIscriptions on X.
2. Like & Retweet the pinned announcement.
3. Submit your NEAR Protocol wallet address or named account (e.g. yourname.near) in the Early Access Form.
Your spot will be saved and you will receive a downloadable NEAR Genesis Pass.
All standard non-custodial Solana wallets are supported, including MyNearWallet, Meteor Wallet, Sender, HERE Wallet, and OKX NEAR. Do NOT use exchange deposit addresses (e.g. Binance or Coinbase), only use your self-custody NEAR address (e.g. yourname.near).
Inscriptions on NEAR Protocol cost less than 0.001 NEAR (fractions of a cent), compared to $20 - $100+ on Bitcoin Ordinals. Whitelisted users also receive priority minting windows and retroactive fee rebates.
The whitelist snapshot closes once the 5,000 slots are filled. All whitelisted addresses will be given a 24-hour priority minting window before the public phase.
Yes, once submitted your application is stored in our early access registry and ready for snapshot export.
